Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Moonfire Private Limited, India ("Moonfire", "we", "us"), and govern your use of the Chrome extension "Moonfire Extensions - AI Chat Exporter and Cleaner" (the "Extension") and this website. If you use the Extension for an organisation, you agree on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension.
The Extension
The Extension helps you export, download, back up and clean up your own conversations and media on ChatGPT (chatgpt.com) and Grok (grok.com). It is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI, xAI or Google. ChatGPT, Grok and Google Drive are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
Your accounts and content
- You need your own account on ChatGPT and/or Grok. You are responsible for complying with those services' terms when you use the Extension with them.
- Use the Extension only with content you have the right to access, such as your own chats and files.
- You own your content. We claim no rights to it and never receive it.
Plans
Free: every feature, limited by a daily allowance (currently 10 chat exports, 50 image or file downloads and 20 clean-ups per day, resetting at local midnight). We may change the Free allowance in the future.
Pro: removes the daily limits and adds automatic Google Drive backup. Pro is offered as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime license. Current prices are shown on our pricing page.
Purchases, billing and renewals
- Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record and authorised reseller. Dodo Payments' terms of sale also apply to your purchase, and its name may appear on your statement.
- Prices are in US dollars. Applicable sales tax, VAT or GST is calculated and added at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until cancelled. We will tell you in advance about any price change, and it applies from your next renewal.
- You can cancel any time from the link in your purchase receipt, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future charges, and Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Lifetime means a one-time payment for Pro for as long as we offer and maintain the Extension, including all updates to it. It is not a subscription and never renews. The early-bird Lifetime price applies to the first 200 Lifetime purchases only.
License keys
- A Pro license is personal to you and may be active on up to 3 browsers at a time. You can deactivate a browser from the Extension to move the license.
- You may not share, publish, resell or transfer license keys, or try to bypass license checks or the Free plan's limits.
- We may suspend or deactivate a key that is shared, abused, charged back or obtained fraudulently.
Refunds
Every first purchase of a Pro plan comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. The details are in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Deleting and archiving data
Deletions on ChatGPT and Grok may be permanent. The Extension backs up chats before removing them and, by default, only removes items whose backup has finished downloading. You remain responsible for checking that your backups are complete before you delete anything.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for data lost after you choose to archive or delete it, or for content that ChatGPT or Grok do not make available.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Extension in breach of any law or of the terms of ChatGPT, Grok or Google;
- access accounts or content that are not yours;
- copy, modify, distribute, sell or sublicense the Extension, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows;
- remove licensing features or interfere with the Extension's security;
- use the Extension to overload, disrupt or harm any service.
Third-party services
The Extension works with services we do not control: ChatGPT, Grok, Google Drive and Dodo Payments. These services may change at any time, which can stop some features from working until we update the Extension. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the Extension compatible, but we cannot guarantee that every feature will always be available. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Intellectual property
The Extension, this Site and their design, code and branding belong to Moonfire. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Extension under these Terms and your plan. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Updates
We may update the Extension to add features, fix issues, stay compatible with supported sites or meet legal and store requirements. Chrome installs updates automatically.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every change made by third-party services.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moonfire will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Extension is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim (or USD 10 if you use the Free plan).
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded by contract.
Termination
You can stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms. If we discontinue the Extension, we will give reasonable notice. If we discontinue it within 12 months of a Lifetime purchase, we will refund that purchase in proportion to the unused part of those 12 months.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where the consumer laws of your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings there.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and give notice of material changes in the Extension or by email to Pro customers. Continuing to use the Extension after changes take effect means you accept them.
